Annual Meeting:
Our annual meeting was held on March 21st, 2017. There was a lively group present; we discussed the updated bylaws and declaration, as well as approved our 2017 budget. Four new board members were elected and two board members were re-elected.
The updated bylaws have been presented to our attorney for review. The process of obtaining signatures from Woodson Estates homeowners to ratify the new bylaws will begin soon. If you would like to help, please use the contact form on our website.
Dumpsters available on September 16th
There will be two dumpsters exclusively for trash. No yard or hazardous waste is allowed. They will be placed at the intersections of 61st Terrace & Larson and 59th Terrace & Woodside.
Use of Woodgate Farms’ playground on E. 59th Terrace
The Woodgate Farms Homes Association has notified us that their playground is reserved for their residents; they have asked that only their families use the property.
Don’t forget to pay your yearly assessment
If you have not paid the 2017 assessment of $60, you can mail it to:
WEHA, P.O. Box 16582, Raytown, Missouri 64133
or bring it directly to our treasurer, Sandy Olson, at her home: 12112 E. 62nd Terrace.
Pool open now!
Our pool is looking great! Over $9,000 was raised by our community to make much needed repairs to the concrete. It makes a big difference in the appearance! A large portion of Woodson pool’s budget is obtained through the sale of annual pool passes. On average, 60 families purchase pool passes and 90 children join the swim team annually. Consider purchasing a family season pass for $225. Email Sandy Olson for an information packet or go directly to the pool. The access road is located just east of 61st Terrace and Larson. If you have a child that enjoys making a splash, consider the Woodson Sharks Swim Team. Contact the Woodson Estates Swim Club at (816) 737-9944.
