The 2022 Annual Meeting (finally!)

EVENT HAS BEEN RESCHEDULED TO MONDAY, APRIL 4th DUE TO ILLNESS

Hello Community!

We’re looking forward to finally seeing your smiling and/or disgruntled faces at the Annual meeting which will FINALLY take place on Tuesday, March 29, 2022! We’ve had to skip two years due to the pandemic, and this year, it’ll take World War III with a land war in Missouri to keep us apart. We’ve been working hard and would love to see you this year!

WEHA President

*Please RSVP by leaving a voice message or texting us at (816) 514-4956 or filling out the form at www.WoodsonEstates.org. An RSVP is not required, but it helps us gauge how much food to purchase.*

The Board of Directors of Woodson Estates Homes Association (WEHA) announces the Annual Meeting of Association Members to be convened 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 29, 2022 at Norfleet Baptist Church, 5512 Norfleet, Kansas City, Missouri. A light meal will be served prior to the meeting at 6:00 pm. Please RSVP one of three ways: Call or text us at (816) 514-4956 and leave a message with your name, address, and the number of people attending, or navigate to www.Woodsonestates.org and fill out the form.

Agenda items include the approval of the Association’s Budget and the election of Members to serve on the Woodson Estates Home Association Board. The proposed Budget is based upon Home Association Assessment for 2018-2021 of sixty dollars ($60.00). We will discuss the needs of the Pool Committee, the needs of the WEHA Board, and discuss what you, the members of WEHA, want to see happen in the community. Please let me know ASAP if you want to serve on the board of directors or help run the pool.

Due to the pandemic, all Director positions are up for election.  Each term of office is for two (2) years commencing April 1, 2022.  Nominations for all positions will be accepted from the floor at the annual meeting. Nominees need not be present; however, they must be aware of their nomination documented by a written and signed statement acknowledging the nomination and willingness to serve, if elected. Documentation of same must be provided to the Board Secretary prior to the meeting.

To be eligible to vote and/or to serve on the Board, you must be a member in good standing of the Woodson Estates Homes Association. To be in good standing the 2021 annual assessment(s) and/or any delinquent assessments must be paid in full prior to the convening of the Annual Meeting on Tuesday, March 29, 2022.

In the event you cannot attend the Annual Meeting, a proxy ballot has been provided on the reverse side of an invitation that will be mailed shortly. The proxy must be signed, dated and received by a Board member before 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 29, 2022. The proxy can indicate your preferences by writing in the name(s) of the candidate. You may also empower an appointee (your substitute) with the proxy ballot the right to freely vote for any nomination from the floor, or any blank not filled out. Your representative should register with Board Secretary Jerri Skinner upon their arrival at the meeting. Remember, you must ensure that the person you are indicating on the proxy ballot for a Director position has approved his/her candidacy and is willing to serve.

If you need a proxy ballot or would like to drop off a proxy ballot, please reply to this email, text, or leave a message at (816) 514-4956 and I’ll get into contact with you.

Thanks,
