The Woodson Estates Pool

Additional Pool Members Allowed: Children/grandchildren who do not live with you and babysitters/guardians who take care of children/grandchildren in the household may be added as family members without exceeding the 8-person limit.

We reserve the right to deny applications or suspend memberships that we suspect are abusing the system.

A member of the pool committee will issue you a pool pass within one week of your application submission.

Yes, as long as your individual family members are registered as pool members in your family account, they may use the physical or digital pass.

Zero-Tolerance Policy

The Woodson Estates Pool Committee will not allow anyone—adult or child, member or guest—to confront, berate, argue with, or verbally or physically abuse a lifeguard, other pool occupants, or anyone occupying the pool property. The lifeguards are provided by the Woodson Estates Pool Committee to exercise supervision necessary to protect the health, safety, and general welfare of all swimmers. All pool occupants shall leave the enforcement of the pool rules to the lifeguard or attending committee members.

Pool Rules

• Membership must be shown upon entry, and entry is only permitted during pool hours when a lifeguard is present.
• No Running is allowed anywhere on the pool premises.
• No outside/street shoes are to be worn poolside or in the pool.
• No abusive language, riding on shoulders, running, shoving, spitting, shouting, bullying, intimidation, or fighting is permitted.
• No weapons of any kind are allowed on the pool premises.
• No glass is allowed on the pool premises.*
• No smoking or vaping is allowed.
• Swim Diapers must be used in the pool for children not potty trained.*
• No electronic or music devices allowed unless silenced with earphones
• Do not come to the Woodson Pool if you have a cold, flu, COVID-19, or other infectious illness, have active diarrhea or have had it in the last 14 days.*

Young Children

Children who have not yet reached 12 years of age must have constant adult supervision at all times, no exceptions, once they have entered the pool property, regardless of where they are on the property. Children of any age that cannot swim MUST wear a life jacket or puddle jumper when near or in the pool, and have a parent or guardian in the pool with them at all times.

Consequences

The lifeguards are required to report any violations of this policy. Written incident reports will be written and filed at the time of the noted violation by either a lifeguard or a committee member. Violations, regardless of circumstances, may result in the suspension of the entire household's swimming privileges for up to the remainder of the season.

*Violations of these rules will result in the pass holder being fined for the cost and loss of revenue incurred by the pool having to be closed, drained, and/or refilled.
