Hello Community!
It’s been awhile since I’ve sent out a newsletter, so before you get it in the mail, here’s what you may or may not have missed!

Assessments
Sandy has been working hard at getting the assessments out — the postponement of the Annual Meeting made it a bit more complicated to get them out in time. Rest assured, you have 30 days from the receipt of the invoice to pay it. 🙂 Dues are $60 this year.

From The President
We finally had our Annual Meeting. After trials and tribulations and sickness–it finally happened. And it happened during the NCAA Tournament Game where the Jayhawks were victorious. Naturally, those in attendance made the ultimate sacrifice for the neighborhood’s sake, and we thank you.
The Annual Meeting saw a lot of new faces and elected several new board members. We were also able to chat with Rayna Parks-Shaw, our 5th District Councilwoman. Rayna offered her support to the neighborhood, and you can reach out to her office at 816-513-6521.
We were also made aware of an app called myKCMO that makes it easy to report issues and incidents in our neighborhood. I have it on good authority that the more you report, the more they pay attention.
Our Pool is opening soon, and we still would love any volunteers that would like to help out with pool maintenance in the coming year (and in future years!) Be sure to check out the new and improved Pool page on our website.
Finally, if you have wanted to get involved and have a mind for numbers and bookkeeping, Sandy Olson would like some help in her position as Treasurer. We truly appreciate anyone willing to help us make this neighborhood a great place to live!
As Always, please reach out if you need anything.
Yours,Â
Paul Oldham
